We are using "Faith Weavers"
Sunday School curriculum in grades K-5th. Our Fall unite
is "Here come the Heroes", a study of the life of Solomon,
David, Elijah & others. |

Welcome to Sunday at FUMC! All
children except 4th & 5th grades begin the morning in church and
are dismissed to Sunday School School after the Children's
Moment at the 10:00am service.
Children's
Ministry Team
The
Children's Ministry Team meets once a month after church to plan the
activities for the upcoming year in the Children's Ministry program.
Anyone with a love of Children's Ministry is welcome to join our
team as we prayerfully consider ways in which to best support the
children of Faith UMC!

Acolyte program is open to all children in 3rd, 4th and 5th
Grades. |

Children are scheduled quarterly to light candles at the 8:30
and 10:00 AM services with training in September. |

from 1st thru 6th grade are invited to join us every Sunday for
practice from 11:15am-12:00pm in the Sanctuary.

Birthday Card Program

Register your children for
Sunday School and enroll them in our birthday card program.
The Children's Ministry Team will help them celebrate their
special day with a card and a treat! |
3rd Grade Bible Presentation
|
FUMC is delighted to
present a new bible to all of our incoming 3rd Graders to
encourage their study of God's word. This event takes
place annually in September. |
The Olde Faithful Country Fair
|
The Fair is held near
Halloween in October. It is a fun afternoon carnival with
games, bouncers and treats for children of all ages.
Volunteers help make this a huge success! This event serves as
an outreach to the community. |
Easter Egg Hunt
|
Pancake breakfast and Easter Egg Hunt. Hunting gold or silver
egg and win a special prize. |
Vacation Bible School (VBS)
July 28-August 1, 2008
|
This VBS program allows
children to share in God's Love. |
Summer Sunday School
Begin on July 13, 2008 and will
run for 8 weeks.
The
children will be studying the Ten Commandments. The theme
for this study is that God made a covenant with the Israelites.
Today these laws help us know how to love and worship God and
how to treat others with justice and kindness.
The
Curriculum for the Summer is a rotatinal one. The children
will rotate through different fun stations, for example: Art,
Games, Cooking, Science, etc. in order to learn the Bible
stories.
Summer
Sunday School is taught by volunteers and we need you! We
will be running 3 stations each Sunday, and therefore need a
minimum of 3 volunteers each week. If you have never
taught Sunday school before, this is a great way to give it a
try.
