Elizabeth Ingram Schindler grew up in the Southeast United States and relocated to the Pacific Northwest in 2007 with her husband, Steven, who is a trusts and estates attorney in downtown Seattle. Elizabeth is a 2002 graduate of Southern Methodist University and a 2006 graduate of the Divinity School at Duke University. She was ordained as an elder in the Pacific Northwest Conference of the UMC in June 2010.
Elizabeth and Steven have two children: 7-year-old Caroline and 4-year-old Carter.
When not at church, Elizabeth loves to read, hang out at coffee shops, play and watch sports (especially the Mustangs and Blue Devils!), play the guitar, watch movies, eat pizza, spend time outside, and gab with friends.
Before coming to Faith church, Elizabeth served for four years as pastor at Browns Point United Methodist Church in Tacoma; three years as associate pastor and director of spiritual formation at Seattle’s First United Methodist Church; and three years as assistant director of the Duke Youth Academy for Christian Formation at Duke Divinity School. She is delighted to be the pastor at Faith!
