2020 Women’s Retreat

Get away for a weekend of thoughtful fellowship, learning and relaxation. The theme of this year’s retreat is “Sawubona,” the common Zulu greeting that means, “I see you.” What elements shape our worldviews and how we perceive others and ourselves? What does it mean to be truly seen and known?

Building Better Moms

All moms of children ages 0-18 are invited to join us!

Contact: Melissa Bortnick

On the first and third Thursday of each month, Building Better Moms will meet in the Lobby to support and encourage moms around questions and topics families are facing today.

On first Thursdays we meet off-site, usually at a local restaurant, and on third Thursdays we meet in the Faith Church Lobby.

We tend to focus on a variety of topics such as:

  • Discipline — Learn techniques to outsmart, outwit and outplay to survive and thrive during those preschool-age through teenage years.
  • Building faith as a family — Grow together in developing strong Christian values to establish a solid family foundation.
  • Peer influences — Gain insights on how to help your child stay grounded and true to themselves and their faith despite what their friends might be doing.

October 17, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. Hear local Christian author Ali McKerlich share about her new book Standing Tall: My Story of Faith, Hope, and Healing. In this book, she highlights her battle with a mysterious disease and God’s faithfulness and victory on not one, but three battlefields.
