Becoming Disciples … through Disciple Bible Study

If the mission of Faith Church is, “To make disciples for the transformation of the world,” then what is each of us doing to fulfill that mission?

Your Adult Ministries Team in collaboration with our Pastor John have considered quite a few strategies for Faith Church to support the mission, and the team believes one very effective strategy is to promote each members participation in a Disciple Bible Study. We know that many of our members and friends have already taken at least one of the Disciple studies, and we also have heard that quite a few more are interested in participating if a study were offered at a time that worked for them.

In response, we have prepared a survey that we would like for each member to complete.  The survey will gather information about which Bible Study(ies) you have attended, which Bible Study(ies) you might be interested in attending, and what times might work best for you, among other things.  We ask that each person in the congregation prayerfully participate in the survey.  It should take no more than 3 to 5 minutes to complete your survey.

At the core of every individual’s life is a need for relationships—with God and with God’s people. Faith Church’s Single Adult, Married Adult, and Senior Adult Ministries help to strengthen your relationship with God and others. Bible Fellowship groups and other activities help you to not only learn about God, but really know Him.

Faith 40+ Singles’ Group

Coordinator Sue Lawrence - bellesue@comcast.net

An active group of adults 40+ who meet after church for fellowship at the local Starbucks at Pine Lake for coffee and offer a strong support group. Lots of them don’t have family in the area so they become each others extended family.

We spend holidays together -  one members hosts, everyone brings food and we always have a great time. We meet for dinner at local restaurants, go to movies together, celebrate birthdays and always help when times get tough.

Sojourners

Coordinator Nancy –  Giesa: njgiesa@gmail.com

Our young at heart group of 55+ year olds meet the second Thursday of every month for a homemade potluck luncheon, a presentation, fellowship and lots of laughter. We would love to see you there.
