Youth Ministry

Nate Goldbloom- Director of Youth Ministries

While studying at Azusa Pacific University, I felt a strong call to Youth Ministry. I graduated with a B.A. in Youth Ministry and a minor in Psychology. Following graduation, I have served as a youth leader for several churches as an intern for Christ First Baptist, and Faith UMC; as Middle School director for Mary Queen of Peace; and as Youth and Family director for Sand Point Community UMC. Currently, I am pursuing a Masters of Divinity at Seattle Pacific University.

Being active within the community drives many of my interests.  Frisbee, soccer, softball, camping, and walking with my wife are passions of mine. I also enjoy board games, video games, and Seattle sports (even though the teams often break my heart!).  I love serving others through volunteering at Habitat for Humanity, Children’s Country Home, Eastside Baby Corner, Food Banks, Tent City and the 14 different mission trips that I have participated in and led.  I married my high school sweetheart Kessia in 2008, and we now reside in Seattle.

I look forward to growing in faith with you and your family!

About Big House…

Big House is the youth ministry of Faith Church. It is an exciting place for friends, fun, great relationships, personal growth, and lively events. With a strong commitment to having open hearts, open minds and open doors, we celebrate being a place where ALL PEOPLE are accepted for who they are regardless of their gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or family background.

We are much more than just a youth group. We are a ministry of students, Middle School and High School, who strive to be relevant in today’s culture and are passionate about loving God, connecting with people and helping the world around us.
